International Dance Day đ
Today we have had so many opportunities to express ourselves through dance and show a variety of moves. We have seen a variety of different dance styles from different cultures and incorporated these into our own routines. We practiced ballet moves and danced to Brazilian carnival music. We made our own instruments to use throughout our routines đ¶đ„đș đč These included shakers and drums đ„ we also designed our own ribbons to use throughout the activities as well. These especially came in usual when we practiced our slow dancing and ballet dancing.
Here at Little Leaps we recognise that dancing to music helps children build motor skills while allowing them to practice self-expression. The children had so many opportunities for these moments todayđđ
