Vacancy- Apprentice Nursery practitioner
An opportunity has arisen for an apprentice to learn and grow into our busy setting. The successful applicant will ideally be an open, bubbly and enthusiastic character willing to learn alongside working with the children.
They will be required to learn how to provide high quality child care and planned activities appropriate to the age and stage of development of the child in a safe, secure and caring environment.
The successful applicant will need to have a basic knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, with the ability to follow planning for groups of children and individuals; they will need to build key relationships with children as they will become a key person as they develop into a practitioner. Good communication skills, team work and initiative are essential.
Flexibility is a key requirement for this post as you will need to be available to work between the hours of 7.30am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure.

Responsibilities and Duties
You will be here to learn the basis of becoming a nursery practitioner and will have the opportunity to put all your theory into practice. your main duties in the beginning will be to ensure the children are happy at nursery and meeting all their basic care needs, as you progress into the position your responsibilities and roles will increase, a full job description will be sent alongside application forms to show what some of the duties will include.
Qualifications and Skills
An interest in a career in childcare, a natural affinity with children and willing to learn what the jobs entails are all key aspects we are looking for.
You will be required to complete your level 2 or level 3 qualification alongside the job role. and a minimum of GCSE C grade in maths and English will be required, this can also be completed alongside the course if its not already achieved.

Vacancy - Nursery Practitioner Part Time/Bank
We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic individuals, who have strong passion for developing children’s learning in the Early Years and creating an environment of outstanding childcare.
Due to an increase in business we are now seeking a practitioner who can support our team and cover ratios as and when needed. You would work closely with experienced Early Years Practitioner’s. The main duty for this role would be to support the team in delivering high quality early years care whilst following their lead in creating an atmosphere which is fun, energetic and full of opportunities to play and learn.
The ideal candidate will also be enthusiastic, confident, reliable and able to work as part of a team as well as showing initiative to be able to complete tasks alone whilst supporting the routines of the children and maintaining the nursery environment.
Job Type / Category
The position is subject to successful interviews, references, an initial review within the first 3 months and a probationary period of 6 months.
All successful applicants will need to provide an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check in line with the Local Safeguarding Partnership.
The position is part time/bank, but with the options for overtime if/when required. Flexibility in hours between 7.30am and 6.00pm is preferred but this is open to discussion if you have requirements.
