Listening walk

This morning we went on a ‘listening walk’ with the intent to hear different sounds on our walk. We heard a variety of different sounds such as an aeroplane, the wind, birds, cars, talking and children playing. At the park we reviewed what we had heard and ticked it off our list. One of the sounds to identify was ‘children playing’ so we achieved hearing this sound by going to the park ourselves. The children loved the trampoline and running in particular.
