Library visit

October is National school library Month! So today upper pre school went to the local library in Grantham we accessed the local bus to reach our destination. We sang nursery rhymes whilst waiting for the bus to arrive and counted how many cars drove past us too. Once arriving on the bus we looked out the window and explored the world around us we had a short walk to the library but explored shops as we walked past. “There’s Santa” said one child as he pointed at Christmas cards in the shop.

Once arriving at the library a volunteer read stories and sang songs with us and other children at the library. We also shared stories with our teachers and took it in turns to choose books to bring back to nursery. We found books around autumn, feelings and animals. The children have been excited to bring these to share amongst the baby room and pre school children.

We cannot express how proud we are of everyone today
