Walk to the local park

Yesterday the babies and toddlers went for a walk to our local park.

On the journey one child pointed to his street and said “my house” and “mummy home”. We also spotted a bus and had fun singing the “wheels on the bus” as we arrived to the park. At the park the children were confident to explore their surroundings; showing particular interest in the daisies and dandelions.

Some children liked to imitate an adults actions such as blowing and smelling them. The children had a go on the swings, slides and balance beams practicing our gross motor skills and turn taking before returning to nursery for lunch.
