This morning we read a minibeast story before heading on our nature walk. We explored different types of insects and discussed what we might see on our walk. We took a minibeast sheet with us to tick off any insects we spotted on our walk in the local area. Today we found a bee, ladybird, snail, worm, flowers and leaves.
Upon returning to nursery we had a very exciting surprise waiting for us….. caterpillars we have our own caterpillars at nursery ready for us to care for and help raise into butterflies before releasing them into the wild
