At LittleLeaps we have a topic focus that changes weekly throughout the year. For instance, a few weeks ago the children engaged in a Super Hero and Princess theme. When this topic took place the children particularly enjoyed taking on a role in their play (especially Spider-Man and princesses). This allowed a lot of opportunities for imaginative role play.
The children showed creativity whilst on the craft table and designed princesses, the Incredible Hulk and collage superheroes.
They particularly enjoyed practicing their scissor control by cutting out superhero sheets. In addition to this, Superhero puzzles, superhero shadow matching, superhero patterns and size ordering were completed.
