Remembrance day

For Remembrance day we created our own poppies as a sign of respect and watched a video to learn about what this day represents. The babies printed red onto their poppies and the pre-school children painted their own poppies. “It’s red” one child said. Another child said “what is a poppy?” And we explored this further. One child told the group she had bought one with her mummy and showed the children her poppy.
