Time for a bus trip to our local library for National Story Telling Week
Following our interest in National Story Telling Week what better place to enhance this learning opportunity than visiting our local library. The older pre-school children accessed the local bus and then had a short walk to the library. Each child had the opportunity to chose a selection of books for their teachers to read today and bring back to nursery. The favourite books today were books based around animals. This created further interest once returning at nursery and sparked the children’s imagination for example, after reading a book around a crocodile we then went on our own “crocodile hunt” at nursery….. I wonder what/ who we found ....
