Making Smoothies 


Eating patterns are established in the first few years of life that influence our health during childhood and adulthood. Therefore, encouraging good nutrition during the early years is vital for health. Today the children on the toddler and pre-school side made their own healthy smoothies using a variety of colour combinations fruits. During this time a staff member sat with the children and discussed the different food items going into the smoothie and the health benefits. We ensured there were a variety of tastes and new flavours may have occurred for some children
