Eid and Ramadan

We have learnt all about Eid and Ramadan. We have understood the importance to “give to others” and have thought of ideas we could do to help our friends at nursery. We listened to one of our friends at Little Leaps; where she shared her photos of Eid and the celebrations she participated in.

We looked at her outfit and henna design on her hand too.

We then designed our own henna designs; practicing our mark making skills and creative designs throughout the activity.

In a book we read “Rameena’s Ramadan” we explored different parts of the celebration. We saw that fireworks are used throughout the celebration.

Following this we then made our own fireworks too. we then watched a video about a family also celebrating Eid to explore this further.
