This term we have been very busy celebrating and learning about Diwali. We made our own salt dough diva lamps and playdough ones too. We particularly loved being creative and painting and decorating these we then explored the different lights and all the bright colours shining on our lamps.
Following this interest we designed our own firework pictures on our chalk board, tuff spot fun, shaving foam and paint and paint pictures too.
We tried a variety of Diwali favourites at snack time too.
We also made our own Diwali cakes and particularly loved decorating these in bright colours for the “festival of light”
