Today we welcomed parents and carers into nursery for our Christmas stay and play session. We were greeted by a blow up Santa and snowman to welcome everyone and the fun ahead....
We spent time writing our Christmas lists to Santa and making salt dough ‘cakes and bakes’ One of the children‘s parents kindly bought his guitar and equipment to sing us a range of Christmas songs to get us in the Christmas spirit. The children danced, played instruments and sang along too.
We then had a HUGE surprise visit from SANTA CLAUShe spoke to the children about Christmas and read a special Christmas book. Santa also took the children’s Christmas letters back to the north pole with him. Thank you Santa for your special visit
We all had hot chocolate with cream and marsh-mellows to warm us up in today’s freezing temperatures. We also made our own igloo and spent time decorating this too.
