At Little Leaps we have recently celebrated Chinese New Year. There was a variety of learning opportunities that took place for all children. On our craft table we designed Chinese lanterns, drawn our favourite Chinese food, wrote Chinese numerals and practiced our scissor control whilst cutting out Chinese zodiac signs.
The children enjoyed listening to interactive Chinese stories and watched dragon dances on the screen. They particularly had fun showing their moves to Chinese music.
In addition to this, everyone food tested some Chinese food and completed dragon jigsaws.
All children have had great experiences throughout this week and were definitely prepared for Chinese New Year😃
